Eucharistic Revival Movement

The dioceses of the United States are launching a three year movement aiming to increase understanding of and devotion to the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

Year One Phase, which began on the Feast of Corpus Christi (June 19, 2022) with Mass and procession in Loretto, will promote explanation and devotion of the Holy Eucharist on a diocesan level. Besides explanations about the importance of the Eucharist in the life of the diocese, there will probably be some events to foster our appreciation. Perhaps something like the Nocturnal Adoration Society with its monthly activity.

Year Two Phase, will begin on June 11, 2023, with fostering Eucharistic devotion and strengthening Liturgical life on the parish level. Hopefully we can learn the importance of Mass as the central devotion of the parish, and perhaps develop other ways to be aware of how to include the Real Presence of Christ in our lives. And besides Mass and Exposition of the Sacrament, what else can be done?

Year Three Phase, will be inaugurated with a National Eucharistic Congress (June 17-21, 2024) and conclude with dedication to going out in mission to share the gift of our Eucharistic Lord. There will be more on who will be eligible to attend so save the dates.
